Ministry Release- Gordon Island temporarily closing. - Thursday, July 24, 2008Please be advised that St. Lawrence Islands National Park's Gordon Island
will be closed from 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 27 until 11 a.m. on Friday,
August 1, 2008.
St. Lawrence Islands National Park, in partnership with the Ministry of
Natural Resources, will be implementing measures to control nuisance
raccoons on Gordon Island. Raccoons on the island have been displaying
aggressive behaviours that are a risk to public safety. Access to Gordon
Island will not be permitted while the management operations are in effect
during the times listed above. We will inform you if there is a need to
extend operations.
Please see the attached document for further information. We have also
attached a poster that you are welcome to use to inform your clients and
visitors of the temporary closure. If you have any questions or concerns

The party will be held Friday June 13th at the Mitton Pavilion. The party will be a pot luck dinner with a main dish to be provided by Clarks Marina. Great Turnout for the Boaters Party! - Monday, June 18, 2007We are very pleased with the turnout for the boaters party held on Friday June 15. The weather was beautiful which added to such a great day. It was our privilege to share good food and laughs with everyone in attendance. Photos from the party are up on the "Gallery" page. Instead of hamburgers and hotdogs, we will be having a Pig Roast / Potluck dinner! We will be getting an early start to the cooking, so come out and join us at anytime friday! Fuel Dock hours - Friday, June 01, 2007To better accomadate our customers, the fuel dock will now be open until 6pm on Friday's. Saturday through Thursday the pumps will run on our regular hours of 8 until 5pm. read more ...

The party will start at 5:30 and will be a potluck dinner with burgers and hotdogs supplied by the Clarks. Please bring a food dish, a lawn chair and your favourite beverage. I hope you can all make it as the parties are a great opportunity to get re-acquainted with our boating community!
